Partially due to a breakout performance, the Steelers got their fourth victory on the season. Here are the winners and losers from the week five matchup

It wasn’t always pretty, but the Steelers found a way to get the win against the Eagles. Both units had their highs and lows, but in the end, a good offensive onslaught aided in the final victory. While a win is a win, there were still some obvious struggles for this team. Considering the woes of the Eagles, this win should have been a lot easier to achieve.

While the Steelers scored first, the Eagles always kept it close. The Steelers defense had a rough outing overall, allowing big plays from both the Eagles rushing and passing attack. The Steelers made Carson Wentz look more like the QB that was in the MVP conversation a few years than the one who was struggling to make plays. While the Steelers won by nine, this game was never securely in their hands until the clock hit zero.

Even worse, the Steelers at one point had a 31-14 lead over the Eagles. Despite almost allowing the comeback, the Steelers did a lot of things right as well. The offense continued to click, and the defense still got after the QB. Despite some rough patches, the Steelers still won an are now vying for first place in the AFC. The Steelers had some clear winners in this game despite also having a few losers. All of that said, here are four winners and three losers from the Steelers 38-29 victory over the Eagles.
