3 best moments from the Pittsburgh Steelers Week 6 blowout vs the Browns
With all of the talk of Chase Claypool and Diontae Johnson throughout the season, there had been a forgotten man in the Steelers wide receiving group.
James Washington had made some plays on the Steelers’ first drive of the game. He was a key component for the Steelers to drive down the field and get the first point of the game. After a pressure-induced interception hauled in by Cam Sutton the Steelers would set up their next drive in good field position.
Not soon after, James Washington would walk into the endzone on a simple go route. The defensive back on Washington got caught by Ben Roethlisberger on a great pump fake and Washington would run straight past him for an easy catch and throw resulting in probably the easiest-looking touchdown I have seen Pittsburgh score this year.
Including this 28-yard touchdown catch, James Washington would end the first half leading the Steelers in catches, yards, and receiving touchdowns. James Washington was filling in for Diontae Johnson in terrific fashion.
