Pittsburgh put a beating on the Cleveland Browns in Week 6. Here are five Steelers players who stood above the rest in their blowout victory.

I’m not sure if many Steelers fans saw this game going the way it did on Sunday. After opening the week as 5-point favorites, Pittsburgh saw that line fall to just 3 points before kickoff. Though oddsmakers may have thought this contest would be close, it was anything but.

In fact, this game was essentially over by the second quarter – something I don’t remember saying about a Steelers game in a very long time. Both sides of the ball were utterly dominant, as the offense led the team to a 38-point win (six of which came from a pick-six in the first quarter by Minkah Fitzpatrick), while the defense allowed just 7 points that came in the closing minutes of the first half.

The Steelers had some players who could not be contained against the Browns. Here are five players who stood out the most:

Bud Dupree

There’s no question that T.J. Watt is on a whole other level than his counterpart, Bud Dupree. Watt continually draws more attention and he is a much more consistent player from snap to snap. However, Dupree was excellent this Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

Though rookie offensive tackle, Jedrick Wills occasionally forgot to block him, Dupree tore up Clevlenad’s backfield – earning 2.0 sacks, 2 tackles for a loss, and 2 quarterback hits. This brings Dupree’s season totals up to 5.0 sacks, 4 tackles for a loss, and 10 quarterback hits in just 5 games.

While Watt’s numbers look even more impressive despite drawing more attention, Dupree is an excellent complement to one of the best pass rushers in the league, and he is playing himself into a massive payday after the 2020 season.
