Diontae Johnson came back and made some great plays for Pittsburgh at the start of the game.

The Pittsburgh Steelers started off the game with the ball. They marched straight down the field to the 1-yard line while chewing up nearly 10 minutes off the clock. The Titans appeared to catch a break when a one-yard touchdown catch by James Conner was called back due to a facemask penalty called on Chuks Okorafor.

Two plays later Ben Roethlisberger would throw a dart to a tightly covered Diontae Johnson in the endzone for their first official touchdown on the game. This had to be a heartbreaking moment for the Titans as they failed to stop a team on 1st and goal from the 16.

Furthermore, it was good to see Diontae Johnson back and healthy. Earlier in this long drive, He converted a 3rd and 11 with a great cut on the run after catching a short slant. It is clear how important Diontae’s run after catch ability is to this Steelers offense. This was an important drive to set the tone. The Steelers were able to get the lead and chew up a ton of the play clock. If they were to continue this style of play throughout the game, then there would be little question as to who the winner of this game would be.
