Bud Dupree

The Steelers may finally move on from Bud Dupree after this year. Although he is a physical player, the Steelers may not be able to afford him after 2020. He may command a high salary that someone else is willing to offer him.

Dupree does have five sacks on the season, but I think some of that is because of the help he has gotten from different blitz packages and the effectiveness of TJ Watt. I do think he is overrated in 2020 after having a really good 2019 campaign. One team is going to give him big bucks.

The Steelers have some options to replace him. Kevin Colbert drafted Alex Highsmith in the third round of the 2019 draft. He has done alright in linebacking skills but could improve in the pass rush department.

The other option is Ola Adeniyi. He has gotten on the field for the Steelers, I just don’t think he has impressed. I do think he has flashed in the past and still could turn the corner.
