The Pittsburgh Steelers are undefeated heading into their Week 8 match up with the Baltimore Ravens.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been playing some pretty impressive football through their first 6 games of the season. We still shouldn’t take our current roster for granted and assume that the roster is perfect. The bottom line is that no roster is perfect, and with Devin Bush’s season-ending knee injury, the signal-caller for this defense was removed from the equation. Robert Spillane filled in valiantly while making plays against the best pure runner in the league.

While I am not sure a mid-season trade would be the best idea, the Pittsburgh Steelers shouldn’t leave any stone unturned with championship aspirations and the trade deadline looming. It is hard to pull in a new player in the middle of the toughest stretch of the schedule, especially without a bye week to help get more acclimated to the team. Trading for a player and expecting them to start full time immediately is definitely not the most sound idea. They are facing the biggest threat from within the division this week before the Cowboys, then the Bengals, the jaguars, and the Ravens again this is after just playing the Titans who were the only other undefeated team in the AFC in Week 7.

With that being said, the Pittsburgh Steelers could look for a player that would be a big help in certain situations now, possibly a starter by the end of the season into the playoffs, just situationally and/or for depth, or even looking later into the future. Here are my biggest trade targets in each trade category.
