The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to meet with the Baltimore Ravens for their first 2020 matchup in Week 8.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are facing off with yet another conference favorite for their second week in a row against the Ravens. This is going to be a fun competitive game to watch and is one of the truest rivalries in sports today. They are two of the best teams in the AFC and the fact that they are in the same division makes it all the more interesting.

I do think that this game could potentially have it’s ups and downs, however, I really believe that Pittsburgh will finally silence the critics this week. This is their first game this season that they are picked as the underdogs even while entering this contest as the last undefeated team in the NFL. The Ravens are the real deal. They have the number 1 scoring defense in the league, and the reigning MVP that is spearheading what was the league’s best rushing attack ever in 2019. Interestingly, they sealed the deal on that record with a 223 yard rushing performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17.

However, that Steelers defense is the second-best team in the league at defending the run in 2020. There are a number of reasons why I believe that the black and gold will remain undefeated at the end of Week 8 while proving they should not have been labeled as the underdogs of this matchup.
