The Steelers players and coaches are a resilient group

Honestly, I don’t know how many more of these types of games I can take.  At 51 years old, the stress the Steelers are putting me through is probably not doing me any favors, but, hey, we are undefeated as we speak having just beaten our fiercest rival.

As has been the case all season, the Steelers faced adversity against the Ravens but were able to overcome it.  The resiliency of both the Steelers players and coaches is nothing short of amazing.  We continually ‘stare down’ adversity to come out on top.

Look, I think it’s great we are undefeated, but I am a realist.  As such, I think the reality of the 2020 Steelers thus far in the 2020 season is this:  we possess an inner fortitude (I know I keep using this phrase but it’s appropriate to use) that has not only kept us in some games but has allowed us to win said games.

I think it’s fair to say that based on what has transpired thus far this season, the Steelers will need every ounce of inner fortitude we can get if we desire to be where we want to be at the end of the regular season, but we also need to be introspective and realize that at some point, if we give up 457 net yards to a team, we may not be able to overcome that and we may not win that game.

Let’s hope we don’t have to ‘cross that bridge’ at all this season.
