I had said earlier this week, that JuJu and Ebron were the best options to go to in tight moments

Eric Ebron scored the final points of the night for both teams. He made an easy catch, but it was what he did after the catch to get into the endzone that made the play happen.

Pittsburgh had this play drawn up for him and it worked. It is hard to not want to give a tight end as athletic as Ebron a plethora of chances in the RedZone. He is one of the most athletic tight ends in the league and he flashed it here, hurdling a defender at the 4-yard line and landing into the endzone.

At some point today, Ben had to stop and realize there are moments where it is okay to try to target your established guys. Diontae Johnson made a great play, yet had a horrible day dropping catchable passes. Chase Claypool had a case of the drops too. It isn’t a coincidence that the 3 passing touchdowns Ben threw, were to his 3 older pass catchers. JuJu has been with him the longest, and even though Ebron is new to the team he has been in the league just as long. James Washington has been with Ben only a year less than JuJu and he had one catch today, but it was in the endzone for a crucial touchdown.

Must Read. Why 15-1 would be just as good for the Pittsburgh Steelers. light

This was a rough game for Pittsburgh. They made big mistakes on offense, defense, and even special teams. Garrett Gilbert looked as good as any other quarterback in the league against Blitzburgh. That is a concerning thought considering how great Pittsburgh’s defense has been all season. It would be nice if the Steelers didn’t have to watch Minkah Fitzpatrick break up the game-winning pass to the endzone from an opposing quarterback again after seeing this happen two weeks in a row.
