We breakdown the three keys of the week for the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-0) upcoming matchup against the Dallas Cowboys (2-6).

Although separated by conferences, the history between Pittsburgh Steelers & Dallas Cowboys runs as deep as the best of them. Thirty-two times they have played each other in the league’s existence, including three Super Bowl meetings in which the Steelers lead 2-1; the last time they met each other in 2016 was a game of great emotion.

Falling short to a late touchdown run by RB Ezekiel Elliott, Pittsburgh’s 30-35 loss would mark the second consecutive time they would lose to Dallas dating back to 2012, both in close fashions. However, as nerve-wracking as these matchups have been, this one will relate in no shape or form.

Opening up as 14 point favorites with an over/under of 41.5, the Steelers should have no problem covering each of these odds with any sort of issues. As they have been set on a convincing undefeated run, the Cowboys are down to their fourth quarterback and lost three straight.

Understandably, knowing what has happened in recent years past, the worry of a trap game inflicts the minds of Steelers’ fans but is easily avoidable if things are handled accordingly.
