Bengals Injury Report

Geno Atkins (Personal Reasons) Out

Atkins is dealing with a family situation and that is the reason he will be out on Sunday. This isn’t a huge loss like it has been in the past. Atkins has been in the league for a while and is starting to decline. This is still not good for the Bengals.

Bobby Hart (Knee) Out

Hart is out with a knee injury and this is a big loss for the Bengals. Cincinnati is going to have trouble finding someone to block T.J. Watt. Look for Watt to have a big game against the Bengals. my hot take is that he will swat at least one pass down this week.

Joe Mixon (Foot) Doubtful

I don’t think Joe Mixon will play against the Steelers after not practicing all week. Mixon has been down for some time and it looks like the Bengals are going to have to wait another week for him to return. Giovanni Bernard will be the primary ballcarrier on Sunday for Cincinnati.

Darius Phillips (Groin) Out

Phillips is officially out for Sunday with a groin injury. He did not practice all week. Phillips has been very up and down for the Bengals, but this still isn’t a good sign. The Bengals are lacking some depth at cornerback right now.
