The Pittsburgh Steelers are mid-way through the 2020 season and remain undefeated.

However, the Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert is likely working around the clock looking at pieces that could help Pittsburgh now through free agency, or in the future through the draft. There are a few areas Pittsburgh could add some youth to. A lot of these prospects will be shifted around a bit as the college season comes to a close and this is all pending combine results. With that being said, if the NFL draft started tomorrow, these are the top prospects Pittsburgh would grab at their draft position which right now, would be 32nd if they go on to win the super bowl in 2020.

A few of the things that I considered were how much Kevin Colbert loves to draft outside of the SEC. Colbert loves to find players that are undervalued due to the conference they play in. This is how he is able to find such great 3rd and 4th round picks that turn out to be much more talented but hadn’t gotten the kind of exposure SEC ball would give them. I also looked at age. My first pick adds a bit of youth to a position group that is aging fast and there doesn’t seem to be a viable starter long term waiting within the organization.

I looked at things that didn’t seem to have a clear answer in the long run. You’ll be surprised to find that I am predicting the Steelers to make a trade for another 3rd round pick. This may or may not happen we will wait and see. However, the move makes sense and it will more than likely work out well for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Without further ado, here is how I predict the Pittsburgh Steelers’ first 3 rounds to go.
