A lot of great matchups across the league this week. Let’s take a look at who to slide into your lineup and who to stay away from.
Here is a look at not just the Steelers face off against the Jaguars but the whole NFL and who should start on your fantasy team.
We start off the week with a great prime time match between the Arizona Cardinals vs. the Seattle Seahawks. There’s a lot of favorable matchups in this game due to both teams having poor run and pass defenses. After last week’s unusual fantasy performance from Russell Wilson, DK Metcalf, and Tyler Lockett, I expect all three to rebound and ball out against a struggling Cardinals defense.
On the other side of the ball, we have arguably the NFL’s best offense through 10 weeks. Like the Seahawks offense, I expect the Cardinals offense to ball out. Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, and even Christian Kirk are all viable starts against a lackluster Seahawks defense.
To cap off Week 11 we have the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday night where the Chiefs look to rebound in a very important divisional game. Lastly, on Monday Night the Los Angeles Rams travel to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers. There’s a lot of fantasy implications in these games that they will dive into, but first, let’s take a look at who you should start or sit at quarterback in Week 11.
Start:
Ben Roethlisberger, Pit, vs. Jax
Big Ben at age 38 has outperformed everyone’s expectations coming into the 2020 NFL season. He has a very favorable matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars this week. The Jags defense has struggled week in and week out this season against quarterbacks. Ben has also been on a mission this year leading the Steelers to a 9-0 start. Ben hasn’t put up the greatest fantasy numbers this year but the offense has been clicking recently. Ben will have a field day against the Jags defense come Sunday.
Justin Herbert, LAC, vs. NYJ
Justin Herbert has a very favorable matchup as he and the Chargers take on a below-average Jets defense. Herbert is currently 7th in points among all quarterbacks. Who would have thought Justin Herbert would be balling out this early in his career? He has at least 2 touchdowns since Week 4 and I expect a minimum of 3 touchdowns against this struggling defense. Against quarterbacks, this season the Jets rank 29th in regards to fantasy numbers, according to ESPN. Fantasy owners can expect a great day from Justin Herbert.
Sit:
Ryan Tannehill, Ten, vs. Bal
Tannehill started off the fantasy year putting up unreal numbers, but as of recently, his numbers have plateaued. He has shown that he can feast against poor defenses but the Titans have played better competition as of recently. In those games, he has struggled to put out start-worthy numbers. He failed to put up 15 fantasy points against both the Bears and Colts defenses.
Tannehill has to go into Baltimore and play against a gritty Baltimore defense that ranks 10th against quarterbacks this year. I’d look to stream for quarterbacks on the wire-like Jameis Winston, Tua Tagovailoa, and Alex Smith who all have better matchups.
Jared Goff, LAR, vs. TB
Goff has struggled in games this year when he’s seen better defenses. Sunday he has to face a tough Tampa Bay defense who could give him trouble. Goff failed to throw a touchdown against a hurting Seahawks defense. This scares me and is partially the reason I would sit him. Even with great weapons beside him, I’d look to stream other viable starters with better matchups
