Chase Claypool is unstoppable down the field

This is more confirmation of what we’ve already quickly come to know. Steelers rookie wide receiver, Chase Claypool, is an absolute beast down the field, and the only way to stop him is to grab him (which happened on more than one occasion against Jacksonville). He remarkably recorded his 10th catch in as many NFL games, and he is close to setting some all-time records.

Claypool has been nothing short of magnificent since joining the team as their second-round draft choice this past April, and apart from Ben Roethlisberger, there isn’t a player who is more critical to the success of this offense (which has been quite impressive so far in 2020).

Against the Jaguars, Claypool won multiple times down the field – including a diving touchdown grab from 31 yards out. While his stat line wasn’t anything to write home about (4 catches, 59 yards, 1 touchdown), he had continues to have a huge impact on offense, and he drew yet another pass interference call down the field in Week 11. Steelers fans should be ecstatic about the direction his career is heading in already. The ‘Mapletron’ nickname is truly justified.
