Here are the winners and losers of the Steelers 27-3 win over the Jaguars

Despite going down by three early in the game, the Steelers quickly asserted themselves as the dominant team. Once the Steelers took the lead, there was little looking back, as the team asserted themselves as the dominant team consistently throughout the game. There was little wrong with the final outcome, as the Steelers won handily and brought in their backups to finish out the game. With all of that said, here are the four winners and two losers from the Steelers 27-3 spanking of the Jaguars.

Winner: James Conner

After a string of mediocre performances against inferior defenses, James Conner finally got the ball moving on the ground. I wasn’t an elite performance by any means, but Conner and the fellow backs did enough to make the running game impactful during this matchup. This unit was far from elite, but they held their own against the Jaguars.

Conner rebounded well this week, posting 99 total yards after barely registering 100 rushing yards over the past three games. He ran hard and physical, powering through arm tackles and pushing the line forward. He did all of this despite only carrying the ball 13 times and catching another three passes. He was effective when called upon which was more than enough this week.

While the unit as a whole could get more creative and the offensive line could generate more of a push, the unit did enough to succeed this week. Ideally, this group keeps it up this Thursday against the Ravens, as the running game opened up the passing game more. It was a good, not great performance this week, but it was more than enough to get the win this week.
