After unleashing a 27-3 demolition derby onto Jacksonville, the Pittsburgh Steelers are now looking more and more like a 10-0 team.

While the Steel City is home to what is currently one of the most formidable teams in the National Football League, not many performances have been doubted more than that of the Steelers. Just two weeks ago, Pittsburgh was escaping what could have been a stunning loss to the abysmal Dallas Cowboys. This killed most of the attention that was being paid to Steelers fans, who still believed that their squad was for real.

However, since that dreadful Sunday, Pittsburgh has not only continued their win streak but has made a rather assertive impact on viewers in the process. When one hears about a team winning games against the Cincinnati Bengals and the Jacksonville Jaguars, there is a very minimal chance that he or she will even bother batting an eye. But considering that the Steelers came out on top versus those two opponents in such a dominating fashion (outscoring them with a combined tally of 63-13) implies that head coach Mike Tomlin and his crew are at least making strides in the right direction.

The remaining slate will not be getting any easier for Pittsburgh, as they have Baltimore, Buffalo, and Indianapolis still to handle. And it is also worth mentioning that the Cleveland Browns have so far amassed an impressive record of 7-3 (not kidding). So it is reassuring to now know that the Steelers can in fact put down the little boys, as some notable challengers are on the horizon.

But what exactly should be done to ensure that the winning does not cease? Absolutely nothing. Pittsburgh’s offense and defense are both playing some outstanding football right now, as Ben Roethlisberger has greatly improved by lessening his interception-throwing tendencies, and Jake Luton was picked off a whopping four times while never managing to lead the Jaguars offensive regime into the end zone once.

The Steelers are the undisputed kings of the NFL right now in regards to their record. But if the Steel City population is going to try and proclaim their franchise’s greatness in terms of performance and achievement, then Pittsburgh needs to keep the roll that they are on alive. And by the looks of the past couple of weeks, it appears as if they are doing just that.
