While the Pittsburgh Steelers are still in the driver’s seat of the AFC, they have some tough competition in the upcoming playoff bracket. Who is most likely to kill their dreams of another Lombardi Trophy?

The American Football Conference is no laughing matter this 2020 NFL season, as nine teams have at least six wins heading into week 12. Such a menacing stack of squads is headlined by the Steelers, with a glamorously unbeaten record of 10-0. However, while they are excelling in win count, they are lacking in believers. This has resulted in many viewers still thinking that they are in fact not the best team in the AFC, and maybe not even the best in their own division (AFC North).

Taking a moment to humor such insulting doubt, we should analyze the fellow powers of the conference. This is what the Steelers themselves will be doing, after all, to make sure that they are prepared for whoever could stand in their way on their path to glory.

Before we begin, a simple note: the teams inspected will meet the requirements of not just earning a decent record and receiving media hype, but also of proving themselves as talented enough to go toe-to-toe with Pittsburgh and/or being a franchise that the Steelers have a complicated history within some fashion.
