Start:

Justin Herbert, LAC, vs. Buf

As I recommended last week, start Justin Herbert. He shredded the Jets defense throwing for 366 yards and 3 touchdowns, his second-best fantasy performance of the season.

This week Herbert and the Chargers are going into Buffalo looking to throw the ball, a lot. Buffalo has struggled against the pass all season and are ranked 28th against opposing QB’s. Herbert could easily outperform last week’s performance in regards to numbers as they will probably be throwing the ball more often. This game will likely be a shootout, which means more opportunities for Herbert.

Derek Carr, LV, vs. Atl

Carr hasn’t been the best fantasy QB this year, but I think he is going to put up his best numbers this week against the worst pass defense in the league. Atlanta has struggled this season against the pass and there’s no reason why that will change come Sunday. Carr has improved as the season’s progressed. He has a very high floor this week and will shred this lackluster Falcons defense.

Sit:

Ryan Tannehill, Ten, vs. Ind

Tannehill started the season off with historic numbers. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case in his last few games. As he’s only topped 20 fantasy points once in his last five outings. With that being said, he has to face a fantastic Colts defense this week who have allowed 20+ fantasy points only twice this season. I’d recommend looking for a QB with a better matchup on the wire.

Tom Brady, TB, vs. KC

Brady has had a roller-coaster year in regards to fantasy. He’s been lights out against bad defenses but has struggled against better competition. Against top 10 defenses this year he has averaged 13.6 fantasy points and this week he faces off against the 8th best pass defense. Kansas City’s defense didn’t look great against Derek Carr last week but I think they will bounce back against a struggling Tampa Bay offense. Brady is also 0-19 on long balls in the last three weeks.
