Fantasy Football: Who to start and sit in Week 12
Start:
Brian Hill, Atl, vs. LV
Hill has been the second fiddle to Todd Gurley all season. On Sunday he will get his first start of the season and I expect it to be a big one. Hill has given Gurley a run for his money in regards to being the lead back. Hill is averaging over 4 yards per carry and he has a favorable matchup against the 29th ranked run defense this year. If Las Vegas doesn’t run away with the game, Hill can expect around 15-20 carries and will be very involved in the passing game.
Wayne Gallman, NYG, vs. Cin
Gallman has been extremely productive in the past four weeks. He’s scored 5 touchdowns in those four outings. Cincinnati has an average run defense but due to the injury to Joe Burrow, this game could get out of hand. With that being said, the giants may run the ball a lot in the 2nd half giving Gallman more opportunities.
Sit:
Chris Carson, Sea, vs. Phi
Carson hasn’t taken a snap since Week 7 and is still a little banged up. He is currently questionable, but reports have said that he is most likely a go this week. If he does play, Seattle might run a committee this week and ease Carson back into the lineup. Yes, it is hard to sit a star running back but he is coming off a foot injury and that could affect him against a good Eagles run defense.
Aaron Jones, GB, vs. Chi
Once again, this is a tough sit but I’m not a huge fan of Jones this week. He split carries with Jamal Williams last week and it was a true 50-50 split. Also, Jones hasn’t topped 15 carries since week 3. He is very touchdown dependent in standard leagues due to minimal carries. Plus, he has to face a tough Bears defense who have proven to give running backs trouble this season.
