Taking advantage of Ravens’ losses
The last time these two times met, the Ravens capped off a season-high 265 rushing yards. It was also the most the Steelers defense haven gave up to any opponent on the year and in quite some time.
The #Steelers gave up their most rushing yards since 1993 today but are 7-0 for the first time since 1978. The latter stat > the former. They’ll run it back against the #Ravens on Thanksgiving night in Pittsburgh.

The funny part is this is not even the craziest stat that occurred that day, and it makes the mind wander, how were the Steelers able to pull off a victory?
The Ravens had 265 rushing yards and outgained the Steelers 457-221 in total yards in their loss on Sunday.

Since 1933, a team that had at least 250 rushing yards and had at least twice as many total yards as its opponent had a combined record of 215-1-1. Now make that 215-2-1
Three separate rushers eclipsing 65 rushing yards or more for Baltimore, the team leader in week eight happened to be rookie RB J.K Dobbins. Averaging 7.5 yards per carry on 15 attempts, he decimated the Steelers’ front seven along with RB Gus Edwards & Jackson.
However, after recent positive COVID-19 tests, the Ravens will be without the rook & veteran RB Mark Ingram, debilitating the backfield’s physicality. As stated earlier, their passing game severely lacks any big-plays or efficiency, & now unable to lean on the literal strength of the offense is a test that comes at the worst time.
Albeit the recent competition for the Steelers is nothing to brag about, they have gradually decreased in yards given up to opposing rushers since they first played the Ravens, allowing only 73 last week to the Jacksonville Jaguars (lowest total since week three).
And for Baltimore, their previous three games have been their worst. Even though they have reached 100+ rushing yards in each game as a team, it’s been the lowest stretch of any part of the 2020 season for the Ravens.
Pittsburgh can continue to regain their complete dominance as a defense in revenge for what Baltimore accomplished nearly a month ago.
