The Steelers matchup against the Ravens has now been delayed three times. Here’s why it’s a terrible look for Roger Goodell and the NFL.

Most of us have forgotten that the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens are even rivals by now, following the third (yes, third) postponement of their matchup that was initially scheduled to be played on Thanksgiving night. Anymore, it seems like the biggest rival has been father time, as we all feel closer to our caskets than we do to actually seeing this game unfold.

Not only is the continuous leniency towards Baltimore’s colossal dropping of the ball questionable all in itself, but there are also multiple factors playing into and around this issue that make it all look totally suspicious. But what exactly are those factors?

To put it simply, the decision-making in this catastrophe is pointing towards favoritism, lack of fairness, and something that could eventually lead to a game-changing scenario for the Steelers in the coming days. Despite the fact that this is all coming from a site devoted to the Steel City may make this conspiracy out to seem quite biased, there is definitely cause for concern, just like there is in any other crazy theory that I will soon touch on.

The handling of this Week 12 matchup has been downright pitiful, and fans of any team around the league should be able to agree that this whole situation could have been handled much more professionally. Here are three reasons why the Steelers-Ravens situation is a bad look for Roger Goodell and the NFL:
