3 reasons why the Steelers-Ravens situation is a bad look for the NFL

The Broncos game against the Saints was not handled with care
The Ravens have had many players come down with COVID-19, and that of course is horrible. However, the Broncos didn’t even have a single flipping quarterback to deploy tumbling into Sunday’s game against the Saints.
However, despite Baltimore receiving two postponements before the time of Denver’s kickoff, Roger Goodell refused to grant the Broncos any mercy – leaving them forced to resort to relying on practice squad receiver Kendall Hinton, who had not thrown a single pass since his college days as a Wake Forest QB. To no one’s surprise, the rusty new guy with no reps led his team to an excruciating 31-3 loss.
This must have left many Denver fans scratching their heads, thinking about how many times did they have to screw up to result in them being delicately caressed like the Ravens have been up to this point.
There is no doubt that in recent seasons, Baltimore has been a much more exciting team than the Broncos have. So maybe if Denver was just a little bit better of a squad, and could compete with New Orleans to a tad higher of a degree, then they would have been cut the same amount of slack that the Ravens have been.
