It took all the way until the 4th quarter for the Steelers to make it into the endzone offensively.

Time and time again JuJu Smith-Schuster makes big plays when it matters most. It is why he is this team’s number 1 wide receiver regardless of how many targets Diontae Johnson or Chase Claypool are getting every week. He made big plays at the end of the Dallas game. He did it at the end of the first matchup with the Ravens and he did it again in Week 12.

Ben had just targeted JuJu 2 plays prior. #19 would walk a Ravens defender about 5 yards with a stiff arm and after an inside run with Benny Snell Jr. failed to make it into the endzone he would get another chance. Smith-Schuster would just run a simple out-route and catch it in the endzone for 6. It was a good play for the Steelers offense that failed to finish drives with multiple trips in the RedZone ending in field goals.

The game was appearing closer than what it was if you just looked at the scoreboard. The Steelers weren’t finishing drives but had been moving down the field decently well. Had they performed better in the RedZone the score could’ve been 27-7 after this touchdown with the extra point. There was a failure to finish drives for the Steelers but not much else was going wrong offensively. They had marched down the field multiple times and it took until the 4th quarter for them to finally finish the job.
