The Steelers stay on the road this week as they head to Cincinnati for their Monday Night matchup against the Bengals.

The Steelers head into this game with a chance to clinch the AFC North division with a win against a very bad Bengals team. These are not the same cats that they dominated earlier this year. They have lost their quarterback, Joe Burrow for the rest of the season and that has been a major issue for this team. Since losing Burrow and others, this team is no longer competitive. They have not won a game since very early November. Since that win, the majority of their losses have been in blowout fashion which included last week when they were destroyed by a bad Dallas Cowboys team. They head into this game with a bounty of issues across their squad and that should have the black and yellow very excited.

Mike Tomlin’s team has been having many issues over the last couple of weeks and it has become a habit. The two losses on their season have come back to back and those occasions have been ugly. Major issues are starting to show and the league is taking notice. This week could be a major bounce-back game for the Steelers. They need a spark and beating a bad team and potentially beating them badly could bring back that fire. That taste of victory and showing a strong performance against a bad opponent could propel Pittsburgh to gain confidence again.

Injuries and inconsistencies could hamper the offense but this is a very bad team they are facing. If they cannot move the ball up and down the field during this game then there are even more issues for the Steelers than many believe.

Who the experts have winning in this matchup

According to 13 picks from CBS Sports, SB Nation, and Sporting News, the Steelers are highly favored to win this game. Twelve out of the thirteen picks have the black and yellow winning over their division rival. It is just too much of a talent differential for the away team to lose in the jungles of Cincinnati. The experts do not see this as a close contest as many others also think this will be a blowout win and a division-clinching game for the Steelers.

It should be a relatively easy victory for the Steelers especially since Joe Burrow is not playing in this contest. Even when Burrow played in the last matchup, Pittsburgh was able to dominate. Now it should be even easier with his absence and one that the fans should enjoy watching on Monday night.

Prediction: Steelers 28, Bengals 9
