Hines is the secret weapon

The Colts have one of the best pass-catching backs in the league in Nyheim Hines, as he has been a potent security blanket for the team. He leads the team in receptions right now, as Rivers seems to enjoy targeting him on quick passes out of the backfield. While the Steelers have been a decent coverage team overall, they have struggled against good receiving backs recently.

While the yardage wasn’t there, Giovanni Bernard made his lone reception in the Bengals win count. He gained 14 yards and found the endzone. Worse yet, he made Avery Williamson look silly when he did this which allowed for him to so easily score. The Steelers are still extremely banged up at inside linebacker, and even if Vince Williams returns, this group will still probably struggle against Hines.

The prediction is, Hines proves that he is a supremely talented receiver once again for the Colts as he leads them in receptions on the day. In total, he catches eight passes and totals 12 yards and a score. He beats Williams for his lone score on a short slant in the red zone. While he isn’t an elite runner, he has thrived in this offense. Expect his solid production to continue against the Steelers.
