The Steelers were able to snatch victory from defeat in a comeback win against the Indianapolis Colts

I know I’ve said this ‘a million’ times, but what a game! Admittedly, had we lost I would not be saying, ‘Wow, what a game!’ Had we lost, I would be saying something along the lines of this:  the Steelers let another game slip through our fingers.  Fortunately, I didn’t have to resort to making that remark.

The remark I will make, however, is this:  after having lost three consecutive games and after having been down 17 points in the third quarter, the Steelers rallied to beat the Colts and to secure the AFC North Division title.  This was the type of comeback effort that may very well define the season and may propel us to victory in the postseason.

Honestly, the Steelers did not look good in the first half of the game; we just seemed to be out of ‘sync’ for whatever reason, but, in typical Steelers fashion, we made adjustments, we executed better than we had been executing, players made plays and we emerged as the victors.

Don’t get me wrong, I think we could have easily lost this game, but, again, fortunately, we did not.  I think we saw a lot of ‘grit’ and determination against the Colts.  Hopefully, that is a trend that will continue as we ‘march’ through the playoffs. I also think we learned a lot about our team in the process.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at what we learned in said process.
