Here are five bold predictions for the Steelers vs the Browns in week 17

While the Steelers are set to play it conservatively this week with their starters, there are still a plethora of bold predictions that could be made for this game. There are quite a few intriguing names that should see some opportunities in this game.

As well, the Browns are still playing for their playoff berth, meaning that it could be a big opportunity to knock them out of the playoffs. With all of that said, here are five bold predictions for their game this Sunday.

The Steelers lose

While it doesn’t seem bold on the surface to claim that a team playing a lot of its reserves loses to a playoff-caliber team, as you will see if you keep reading, I don’t think this game is a blowout. I think the Steelers bring it to the Browns, and despite the lopsided talent, this game remains close. Despite the valiant effort from the backups, the Steelers will still fall short in this game.

I think this game gets decided by a late touchdown for the Browns by Nick Chubb. While the Browns win the battle, the Steelers seemingly win the war though, as their second-string team plays well. Not only does it bring doubt about the Browns as a contender, but it also gives hope for the future of this team. As has been covered before, the Steelers are set to lose a big group of starters this offseason, so having capable depth will be huge. The Browns win this game, but the Steelers feel like more of the victors in the end.
