The Browns have a pair of 100-yard rushers

It is no secret that the Browns have arguably the best running back tandem in the NFL. While Chubb isn’t the best overall back in the league, he and Kareem Hunt are two premiere backs. The Browns have struggled to get the run game going recently though, but I think that comes to an end this week. When Mayfield starts showing some weakness, the Browns go to a ground and pound system.

Despite the Steelers having a strong rush defense, I think they get exposed with the backups playing this week. As a result, both Chubb and Hunt rush for over 100 yards this week and are the only reason the Browns end up winning this game. Both players rush hard and benefit from strong blocking against the Steelers reserves. At the end of the day, Chubb and Hunt return as the heart and soul of this offense.

While the Steelers would certainly claim it was due to their reserves struggling against the run, don’t be surprised if opposing teams took note of what worked for the Browns rushing attack. This run defense has been one of the best units in the NFL, so a sudden struggle like that would certainly be eye-opening. The Steelers will have to go back to the drawing board after getting ran over this week.
