Yes – They’re were Penalties, and there were costly Turnovers

I thought I might have jinxed our team by saying the T-Word that should not have been said, I need to keep my mouth shut. But when you’re good, you’re good and you deserve to talk trash a bit. I was wrong, wrong, wrong. There was a fumble that occurred against Washington, a pick-6 against Buffalo, and careless mistakes against the Bengals. Those have been our worst defeats out of the entire season and those instances resulted from a lack of discipline and performance.

Before the Baltimore game, the turnover margin was at a +12 and since then it has gone down to a +9; it is not terrible, but it decreased. Even in the 5 game span, there were penalties that didn’t go the Steelers’ way, mostly the little ones that hurt chances of conversion on 3rd Downs and scoring in the Redzone.
