Outside of Meinerz, there may not have been a player at the Senior Bowl who helped his stock more than Dillon Radunz. The North Dakota State tackle can be seen in some cut-ups when watching game film on quarterback Trey Lance, but I don’t think anybody realized how good he was until he came to Alabama this weekend for the big event.

Radunz doesn’t wow you from a physical standpoint. At 6’5” and 304 pounds, he checks the boxes to be a tackle in the NFL, but his 33 1/4” arms and 80 1/4” wingspan isn’t exactly prototype numbers for the position. Still, he showed that average size and length won’t prevent him from being a good offensive tackle at the next level.

Despite the jump in the competition level going from the FBS to competing against the best seniors in the nation, Radunz more than held his own. In fact, he rarely lost a single rep. By the end of the week, Dillon Radunz was given the award to the overall best player at the Senior Bowl practices.

The Steelers rarely take small-school players in the first two days of the draft, but it has worked out really well in the past with players like Javon Hargrave and Alex Highsmith. Radunz is a guy who may be able to play left tackle in the NFL and he should be on their radar.
