Here’s a player who really only started to catch my eye last week. Much like last year, it’s widely known at this point that this isn’t a spectacular tight end class. While Florida’s Kyle Pitts could end up being one of the best I’ve ever graded at the position, it’s pretty weak outside of him. Pat Freiermuth and Brevin Jordan are both solid options, but the Steelers would likely have to spend one of their first two picks to land them.

Kenny Yeboah could be a solid option if they miss out on the scarce tight end talent early. At nearly 6’4” and 247 pounds, Yeboah has adequate size and good length for the position. However, his best trait is the ability to play both inline and flex out to the slot. Though he’s just average as a blocker, Yeboah can win at the catch point and projects as a number two tight end at the next level.

The Steelers recently had Vance McDonald retire (though he was probably going to be cut due to his cap number anyway), while Eric Ebron is set to have a big cap hit in 2021. Even if Ebron returns (which seems likely), Pittsburgh could really use another tight end, and Yeboah offers a little bit of everything.
