Tyson Alualu
I know that Tyson Alualu had a very good season with the Steelers last year (as evidenced by his 86.6 overall grade by PFF), but the market value for a 34-year-old nose tackle may not be very high. At this stage in his career, nobody is signing Alualu to be a full-time starting defensive tackle, and he is best sticking with a limited role that allows him to plug running lanes in the middle of the defense.
For these reasons, I think Alualu winds up staying in Pittsburgh to close out his career. The former 10th overall pick all the way back in 2010 was widely considered a bust, as he never came close to living up to his lofty draft status. However, he was able to revamp his lackluster career after coming to Pittsburgh in 2017.
With maybe just one more year left in the tank, Alualu could keep his family in Pittsburgh for another season before calling it a career. The Steelers could offer him a respectable one-year deal and send him on his way.
