The Steelers will need to find tight end help this offseason. Here are some bargain-free agents who will be on top of their list.

Ever since Vance McDonald retired, the need to add a quality tight end has only grown. Before McDonald’s announcement, this position could have used more depth. Now with only Eric Ebron being the only true option at the position, this will need to be addressed immediately.

The Steelers have not had a great player at the position since Heath Miller hung up his cleats for good after the 2015 season. Finding help at the position will not be easy, and it would be hard for the team to trust a rookie tight end who would be thrust into action. Instead, they will be going for smaller names looking to reestablish themselves in the NFL before leaving for more money when the time comes again.
