The Pittsburgh Steelers always have a certain way of picking in their drafts and these three players are flying under the radar.

The Steelers have been mocked to offensive tackles and other positions throughout the offseason but many are not talking about these prospects. There could be a surprise choice that many fans are not expecting when pick 24 comes around on the first night.

Pittsburgh always says that they will select the best player available when their pick comes up on the ticker. If that is the case then they should not be going by the major holes that need to be filled going forward. These three prospects all have first-round grades and for good reason, as they could immediately help a football team improve with their abilities on the football field.

Creed Humphrey, OC, Oklahoma

Creed Humphrey has been mocked to the Steelers in some mock drafts but it is fairly uncommon to see him selected in the first round. He is the best center in this class and he could start day one for this team. Many have him going somewhere on day two of the draft but the Steelers will be looking closely at the center position as they evaluate their needs and prospects to fill those vacancies.

Humphrey would provide immediate stability at the position for now and into the future for the franchise. He is a first-round talent that should be getting much more attention for the Steelers pick than he is currently. A trade back could always be in play when selecting a player like Humphrey because he will still be there and the black and gold could gain some more picks. This would be a great selection in the first round even though many have not spoken about him at 24.
