Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Notre Dame

This prospect will intrigue many NFL teams as the draft gets closer. He is projected to go somewhere around the midpoint of the first round. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is the most versatile player in this class as he can play linebacker, safety, and potentially some corner. His speed and weight combination is something many scouts marvel at while watching this prospect play the game of football.

J.O.K. defines what teams are continuously looking for coming out of college, a hybrid player that can play all across their defense. Owusu-Koramoah will need to be deployed properly to succeed at the next level because of his unique style of play. He shouldn’t always be used at one specific position but should be creatively put onto a football field.

His Notre Dame days saw him play more of a safety-linebacker role, and that is where he will be most effective in the NFL. He is solid in coverage and his light frame could cause some issues while playing the run at the next level but his ability to do both is what makes him a first-rounder in this draft. He is a solid cover guy that could use some more work on his frame to not get bullied at the point of attack when an offensive lineman is barreling down the field in his direction. He is going to be a special player if he can be utilized correctly in the NFL.
