Apparently, many teams don’t seem to be scared off by Micah Parson’s character concerns, as it is believed that he could go somewhere inside the top fifteen picks this year. However, if a few teams decide to pass on him, Parsons could see a slide on draft day.

Though he is widely considered to be the best linebacker prospect in the nation and one of the best linebackers to come out since Luke Kuechly back in 2012, Parson’s doesn’t come without his baggage. While other high-risk, high-reward prospects have injury concerns, some are concerned about Parson’s character, as he was allegedly involved in a serious hazing incident at Penn State.

Parsons would be a terrific fit next to Devin Bush in Pittsburgh’s blitz-heavy defense, but if he falls to the 24th pick, there might be a good reason for it. The Steelers may want to do all of their homework before pulling the trigger on a player like Parsons. Still, he has the upside to be one of the very best off-ball linebackers in the NFL.
