This one seemed a bit farfetched, to begin with, as Micah Parsons is a talented enough prospect to land somewhere inside the top-12 picks this year. However, some off-field issues could potentially cause him to slip in the NFL Draft.

Parsons would be an absolutely perfect fit next to Devin Bush as the Buck linebacker in Pittsburgh’s defense. At 6’3” and 246 pounds, Parsons is much bigger than Owusu-Koramoah and his ability to sift through the traffic and pack a punch coming downhill is unmatched by any other player in this draft class. There are some who believe that he is the best linebacker prospect to come out since Luke Kuechly all the way back in 2012.

However, any Steelers fans hoping to see Parsons join one of the league’s best defenses this year might not want to hold their breath any longer. If this wasn’t unlikely before, Parsons to Pittsburgh is officially a pipedream and doesn’t seem likely after Vince Williams’ return.

With Bush coming back from a torn ACL this year, the Steelers will have solid depth at inside linecker with Bush, Williams, and Robert Spillane (who had a decent season in 2020). They could choose to add a linebacker on day two or three, but I’d be shocked if they dipped into this pool at pick 24.
