Welcome to the squad, rookie. With the 24th overall selection in the 2021 NFL Draft the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted Alabama Crimson Tide running back Najee Harris.

The black and gold got a good one. A bulldog of a back, Harris demonstrated an extra gear and breakaway speed in 2020. He’s already hard to tackle and a solid blocker, so it was no surprise to see him shoot up draft boards.

Harris is the latest in a long line of extremely successful Alabama running backs, but his accomplishments might be the most impressive of them all. He finished his career in Tuscaloosa with 4,624 yards from scrimmage and 57 touchdowns.
