#2: Cleveland Browns

If you were to ask someone to name as many stars on the Cleveland Browns roster as possible, almost all of them would be on offense. But it seems to me that the organization picked up on this, as they, too, went absolutely ballistic on the defensive side of things.

Glancing at the Browns picks, five out of eight were defensive talents, including their only first-round selection Greg Newsome II, a corner out of Northwestern. Following Newsome, Cleveland scooped up a linebacker, defensive tackle, another linebacker, and a safety to help him out on that side of the ball, respectively.

For the offensive squad, two wide receivers and an offensive tackle saw their names also be stolen from the draft board. Clearly, these were all moves to help keep QB Baker Mayfield more comfortable in the moment.

I am no Browns fanatic by any stretch of the imagination. However, I cannot deny that they had a near-perfect draft showing this year on both ends of the spectrum.
