#1: Pittsburgh Steelers

No bias, just pure objectivity: the Pittsburgh Steelers had the best draft performance in the AFC North. Even though their prioritization appeared to be a tad off, they still managed to check virtually every box that needed to be addressed on their roster.

Breaking down their nine selections, Pittsburgh had a clear-as-day layout of precisely how they wanted their draft to unfold. They focused on offensive needs with their first four picks, defensive needs with their second four, and then a special teams “need” by taking a punter with their final move.

With the combination of the standards that the Steelers hold within their franchise, the method in which they made as many people happy as possible with their drafting process, and the action of vastly improving a playoff team who was already well-established on both offense and defense, Pittsburgh is undoubtedly the paramount team to beat in their division heading into 2021.
