There will be many tough games for the Steelers as they will have to play in the toughest division in football while also battling against last season’s AFC division winners. Their 2021 schedule includes many playoff contenders that they will face this year. This tough schedule could create for some tough parts of the 2021-2022 season for the black and gold but if they want to make the playoffs or do more than that, they will have to overcome the odds.
Pittsburgh may not be the favored team in many matchups this season, but neither were they last season and they still won the AFC North division. It will be a tough schedule to overcome but there are some good games that fans of this team should be paying close attention to.
Week 8: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cleveland Browns
No fan of the Steel City will forget how poorly the team finished the regular season and the playoff loss at home against the Cleveland Browns. It is a tough pill to swallow but the team must move on and continue their success. They cannot dwell on their past issues since this team is different with a new makeup of players and coaches. This game will garner a lot of media attention as the rivalry seems to be finally back into full swing with both teams being competitive after the Browns being terrible for the last couple of decades.
Defeating the Browns on the road will be vital for the division race and which team ultimately makes the playoffs when it is all said and done. All of these division games for the Steelers will be very important games but this road matchup against the browns Browns will be even more important after the way last year concluded for this franchise.
