Week 15: Pittsburgh Steelers vs Tennessee Titans
The Steelers went into Nashville last season against a top AFC team that would go on a short playoff run and win the AFC South. The Tennessee Titans are a solid team all around and they play in a weaker division which allows them to excel when tougher competition comes to play. The black and gold let a lead slip away from them and almost had the game go into overtime when these two met last year.
Luckily for Pittsburgh, Stephen Gostkowski missed the game-tying field goal and the road team remained undefeated. They counted on the other team missing a kick but it was another “W” in the record column nonetheless.
The Titans are a well-constructed team that is primed to win their division yet again. They rely on a successful run game behind Derrick Henry and that opens up their game plan based on its success. Their defense is suspect at times so the team from the Steel City will need to expose that issue if they want to win in this rematch from last year.
Tennessee will be out for revenge – especially with how last season’s contest finished without them getting a chance to win in overtime. It will be a playoff-like atmosphere for this one and another game that could have potential playoff implications after its conclusion.
