Minnesota Vikings (Week 14)

The week before the Steelers take on the Titans, they face off against the Vikings out in Minnesota. The Vikings themselves figure to be a better team this year than last, as the team is set to field a dynamic offense and an improved defense. While Kirk Cousins has his faults, he has plenty of weapons to throw to and an elite back in Dalvin Cook to run the ball.

This line has been significantly improved upon this offseason, as some of their top draft picks were dedicated to improving the blocking unit. Add in Patrick Peterson and a slew of other defensive veterans and this Vikings team should be an improved unit. Don’t be surprised when the Vikings are battling it out with the Packers to be the top NFC North team.

The biggest drawback to this game is when it is being played. As stated before, the Steelers will be playing out in Minnesota, a drawback already. As well this game is being played on a short week as it is the team’s lone Thursday night game. The final nail is the Ravens team (a team that could easily have made this list) that this team has to play the weak before. Don’t be surprised to see a tired team when they face the Vikings.
