Ben Roethlisberger will throw for over 3,500 yards
Ben Roethlisberger has come under scrutiny over how the last season ended and some of that scrutiny is for good reason. He did not finish the year playing his best football but he still finished with some amazing stats. Roethlisberger is not the player he used to be but after coming off a bad elbow injury, he played well.
He put up around the same numbers rookie sensation, Justin Herbert did. Herbert has been praised while the Steelers gunslinger has been put down time and time again. There are many reasons that this team faltered down the stretch of the season but the major factor was this offense continuously sputtering.
This will be a wild year with new players across the starting offensive line, backfield, and tight end position so this will be a revamped offense. The addition of new offensive coordinator Matt Canada will also be a major factor in how successful this offense is going forward. Roethlisberger should still be able to shine and make timely plays going forward. His stat-line might not be replicated this season but he should still be able to produce enough to get this team into the playoffs. He should still be able to pass for over this yardage total and lead an effective offense onto the field.
