We are almost there! The NFL regular season begins in less than 80 days, and I, just like you, cannot be more excited for Steelers Football to return.

After the brutal loss to the Browns earlier in the year, we have seen the Steelers look for ways to bounce back. While many notable free agents were lost, and there are questions about some of the players now on the roster, I remain confident that the Steelers will be just fine. Speaking of the roster, let us dive into the top ten players representing the Steelers this upcoming season.

10. Joe Haden

Before I discuss why Joe Haden made it into the top ten, I want to say this choice was not easy. There were a few honorable mentions, such as James Washington, Eric Ebron, and Cam Sutton, who all could have cracked this list. However, I am basing my rankings on who I believe will contribute the most to the team this upcoming season.

Joe Haden had a great season last year. While he was not named a Pro Bowler and had three fewer interceptions than the previous season/ Haden has arguably set himself as the Steelers CB1. A phenomenal coverage corner, I believe he will have a bounce-back year similar to his 2019 season.

Now that Steven Nelson is gone and Mike Hilton left in free agency, Haden will be asked to do more. Still, with a secondary that has Minkah Fitzpatrick and role players such as Justin Layne or James Pierre, there is no doubt he will step up and shut down the league’s best receivers, which is something he is already accustomed to doing.
