The Pittsburgh Steelers would do something great by adding any of these four players before they retire.

Steelers fans are always clamoring for the next free agent signing or trade that brings a new face to the franchise. The grass isn’t always greener but signing any of these four on this list would make many people happy. Steelers Nation is a passionate group that is pulling for a lot of players outside the organization as they secretly hold onto hope that these players may join the squad one day.

Normally that does not happen but there are still players out there that could make some sense in the future. It would have to be under the right circumstances but these players would be good fits in Pittsburgh and some additions that the fanbase would enjoy. People don’t know the future and these signings might just seem like a dream but they could potentially happen down the pike.

Tyler Boyd, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Tyler Boyd is a local guy from Clairton, Pennsylvania. Many people from Pittsburgh remember watching him win state titles during his high school playing days. Boyd has only played for the rivaled Cincinnati Bengals during his career but joining his hometown team would be a nice wrap-up to his NFL career. Having his story come full circle and play for the hometown Steelers would be a nice look for him and the fans.

It would have to be in the future with the team needing a veteran receiver in the group but that could happen. Seeing local WPIAL (high school conference in western Pennsylvania) players go on playing for the local NFL affiliate is always a nice thing for black and gold fans to see.
