Steelers Offensive Line (9)

Chukwuma Okorafor, Kevin Dotson, B.J. Finney, Trai Turner, Zach Banner, Joe Haeg, Kendrick Green, Dan Moore, Rashaad Coward

Similar to most of the offensive positions, this group is mostly set with the only question being how many players are actually kept here. Typically, the Steelers keep nine guys here, and it seems likely that the team has an extra body here given the number of new faces in the room. Having an additional depth option gives the team some more potential starters if their current ones falter.

The starters, outside of center, are all set and there is little reason to believe any of them will be unseated before week one of the season. The interior will be made up of newcomer Trai Turner and Kevin Dotson. Joe Haeg should be the sixth offensive lineman while Dan Moore rides the bench in year one. The only question in the main group of eight is who will start at the center. I’m sticking with B.J. Finney getting the nod right now, but I do expect Kendrick Green to make a serious push and become the starter at some point.

As for the final spot on the line, two names stick out as likely options. Considering Moore and Haeg are traditional tackles, the Steelers would be likely to keep another interior player. I almost slotted J.C. Hassenauer here, but he doesn’t have the size to be a proper guard. Rashaad Coward hasn’t been a stellar starter, but he should be able to provide good depth at any guard spot and could even play right tackle if disaster struck. I like him as the final lineman, although that battle should be wide open.
