5 bold predictions for Steelers 2021 Hall of Fame game

Steelers edge rushers get home
It can’t be understated just how impressive the Steelers have been over the past few seasons in getting after the quarterback. While having a talent like T.J. Watt is a big help here, he hasn’t been alone as the front seven will be critical in getting after the quarterback. This season has opened some new questions though, as Bud Dupree is out the door and Alex Highsmith is now the next man up. While he looked strong as a rookie, he still needs to prove to the NFL that he has what it takes to be a long-term starter.
While Melvin Ingram will throw his hat into the ring, Highsmith should get the first crack at the job. Behind him, Cassius Marsh and Quincy Roche, along with Jamir Jones who has had a reportedly strong camp so far, will look to make an impact early. Going up against the Cowboys backups, this group has a real chance to thrive and make some impact moves.
While I do believe there will be one defensive player that shines (more on him soon), the edge group as a position has a chance to shine in the Hall of Fame game. I think this group racks up 3-4 sacks for the Steelers which will, in turn, give them even more attention heading into the remainder of camp. This group has looked good so far, and there is little reason to believe they won’t keep on that uptrend through the Hall of Fame game.
