Steelers Offensive Line (9)

Chukwuma Okorafor, Kevin Dotson, Kendrick Green, Trai Turner, Zach Banner, Joe Haeg,  Dan Moore Jr., Rashaad Coward, J.C Nassenauer

Similar to most of the offensive positions, this group is mostly set with the only question being how many players are actually kept here. Typically, the Steelers keep nine guys here, and it seems likely that the team has an extra body here given the number of new faces in the room. Having an additional depth option gives the team some more potential starters if their current ones falter.

The starters will likely be Okorafor at left tackle, starting left guard is causing a stir on Twitter as Rashaad Coward has been taking reps with the 1st team ahead of Kevin Dotson. It looks like Kendrick Green will get the start at center as many expected after the draft. Veteran free agent Trai Turner will start at right guard in place of the long-time staple David DeCastro. Zach Banner was paid to be the starting right tackle despite his limited NFL snaps, He has started practicing with the 1st team after coming off his injury.

The Steelers paid Joe Haeg to be a swing tackle so he’s a lock to be on the roster. Dan Moore Jr. will obviously make the roster after Steelers spent a 4th round selection on him. Moore has started to show some promise in camp these last few weeks.  Rashaad Coward is getting all the 1st team reps and it seems the coaching staff has more trust in him right now over Dotson, they are both locks to make the roster. This will come down to which backup center the Steelers want between J.C. Nassenauer and B.J. Finney. Finney’s time in Pittsburgh might be coming to an end.
