Steelers Defensive Line (6)

Cameron Heyward, Tyson Alualu, Stephon Tuitt, Chris Wormely, Carlos Davis, Isaiahh Loudermilk

The Pittsburgh Steelers have one of the best starting defensive lines with Cameron Heyward, Tyson Alualu, and Stephon Tuitt. These giants are all locks for the 53. Heyward and Alualu are getting up there in age but if they can stay healthy all season this will be one of Steelers biggest strengths.

Chris Wormely will be the primary backup along the Dline. Steelers traded for him last season and he played well in his limited role. The young bucks of the group are last year’s 7th round pick Carlos Davis and Steelers traded next year’s 4th rounder pick (2022) for Isaiahh Loudermilk so he’s an absolute lock for a roster spot.

Isaiah Buggs and Henry Mondeaux are on the outside looking in are making the 53. Mondeaux might have a better shot between the two, as Buggs and Davis could be two dogs fighting for one bone as the backup nose tackle. It will come down to fits on the roster and the roles they could possibly have if someone ahead of them gets injured. I think there’s a decent chance Mondeaux makes the final roster, but I went a different direction with his roster spot.
